Hengdang is not an app. It's a protocol using which many apps will be built. We are just
getting started, so you won't be able to just install something on your phone or laptop
and try it out, yet.
Our vision is to give people real control over their private digital lives. Although many
projects already exist that have tried providing end-to-end encrypted cloud storage to their
users, these projects don't have a standard way of doing things, which means they can't
interoprate. Building such systems on top of an open protocol will allow more innovation
to happen that has not been previously possible.
